Eating in restaurants two times a day, one person will waste 60 pairs of disposable chopsticks per month. Even if the wood is recyclable material, to transform the waste costs a huge amount of energy and you cannot make new chopsticks from the used ones.
You can easily find good quality reusable chopsticks in many shops in Beijing and carrying them around does not take a lot of space. |  | | CARRY YOUR OWN BOTTLE FOR WATER OR OTHER DRINKS AND REFILL IT WHEN IT'S EMPTY This is another big daily waste of resources. You can fill your bottle with hot or cold water nearly anywhere in Beijing and all offices and private apartments usually have a drinking water dispenser.
