Happy National Day!

Happy National Day!

October Holiday is coming! Please keep pedaling during the vacation!

Events for this week:

Thu > Sept 29th > 7:30pm > Olympic Forest Ride
Meet 7:15pm at Natooke and at 7.30 pm we head out to the Olympic forest to cycle some laps. This time Ines will ride as she needs to get more in shape (only made second place at the last road bike team time trial). It is getting cold especially around the forest, so dress up warmer than you think.

Sat > Oct 1st > 4:30pm > Bike Polo @ Worker’s Gymnasium
Yes it is October holiday and some people are traveling but if you are not sure what to do you can come for bike polo, with any kind of bike. Meet us at Natooke at 4pm to start playing at 4:30pm or meet us directly anytime at the Worker’s Gymnasium East gate.

Important note: Sunday Oct 2nd and Monday Oct 3rd: Natooke will be closed so the employees can have a rest. Happy holidays!

Natooke Team and Ines

P.S. : We are making a collection of pictures of our Natooke bikes outside of Beijing and around the world. Please send us a picture of your bike in the place you currently live, or even better a picture of you and your bike together.

If you are interested in pro-cycling there will be a WorldCup race in Beijing during the October holiday with professional road cycling teams participating.

How To Lock A Bike
We all hate bike theft. To minimize it you should buy a good lock and understand how to lock your bike. Confirm that you have locked your bike properly to an unmoveable object before leaving. Not like this friend who accidentally only locked his seatpost. We were able to remove the bike just by sliding the saddle through the lock. The last picture shows the correct way of locking your bike.

New Bikes
This week’s new bikes are also very beautiful!
