The New Term Begins…
It’s now one of the best seasons to cycle as the weather gets cooler with the autumn rain. Don’t slack just because the Fixed Gear Revolution is over, come for bike polo and join us in the Olympic Forest ride! There will be no trick practice this week because Ines is on her way to the first Euro Bike Fixed Gear championship! Let’s wish her luck!

Meet up at the West Gate of Ditan Part at 6pm or come earlier to have a chat with us. The champions said that basic training is very important!
Thur Sep 1st 7:30pm > Olympic Forest Ride
Leave the shop at 7:30pm, let’s go to the Olympic Forest ride wild! Cool air puls the woods, must be a great ride!
Sat Sep 3rd 4:30pm >Bike Polo with the Champions
Meet at the East Gate of workers Gymnasium at 4:30pm. The video of our polo game is so hot on internet, if you also want to be cool just come and swing the mallet, don’t forget to bring your friends!
Goodbye Emily and Tiger
With summer coming to an end, school draws near and our summer apprentice, Tiger, is returning to university. Tiger, we hope your summer at Natooke shop was fun, but also a challenging and character building experience. Also, congratulations to Tiger for finding a girlfriend during his time here. She was one of our customers and now they are cruising together on their fixies. Tiger proved that love for bikes can lead to real love as well, so get your bike out and go riding!
Among the team a similar piece of news has left us shocked and sad. Emily is also continuing her studies and starting a master degree. However, it’s in Xi’an and not Beijing, so she is really leaving us! No one in the Natooke team could keep the tears back as she left. Emily was a real asset to the shop and her work was very successful. Thanks to her, customers can now enjoy a new range of Flying Banana parts, but that’s just a fraction of her achievements at Natooke. Most importantly Emily always came to work with a big smile and we had a great time together. Make sure to send our regards to Emily and go ride bikes with her if you swing by Xi’an!
