Polo Fever!

Hi everyone,
This week there are some bike events in Chaoyang Park going on around the topic of promoting low-carbon cycling and cycle touring.
Bicycle polo is getting more popular, so we are organizing some more bike polo sessions for everyone to try and get the bike polo fever. Ellen has a female friend who has never ridden a fixed gear bike before, but she played so well last week and even scored a goal! So what are you waiting for now?! Just come and play! Nothing is more sexy than sweating in summer! Oh, btw, please also don’t forget to drink enough water.

Polo
Last Wednesday the sudden thunder storm forced us to cancel the bike polo event. But the polo game on Friday was on! Jason came all the way from Tianjin just to play polo. Our friend Ellen came back from Macau to take a 4 days holiday and also joined the game, and even one German guy we met on the way joined us.

New Natooke Bikes
The past 7 days we had some nice bikes that we put together at Natooke:
First one: Beautiful bike in the NATOOKE colors green and pink.
Second one: A customer had requested us to have “Fixed Gear For Fun” written on it. The complete build up process was documented by photographer Peter Carney. looking forward to watching the time lapse movie of it.
Third one: If you have a rolling pin too much in the kitchen or never make noodles, then just use your rolling pin as handlebars.

Fresh Stuff
New cranks arrived at Natooke shop. They are great quality and look good. Drop by and have a look for yourself. In addition, we have now a special place where customers can put the bike frame and rims and other parts to make it easier to chose the perfect color combination.

Yanqing Bike Race
At Saturday’s bike race there was strong competition form professional cyclists. Natooke’s friends (that usually ride fixed gear) achieved good results. Zhang Nan: 11th; Shannon: 20th; Garth: 34th; Ricky: 40th; Ines: Women 5th. Shannon wrote a nice article about the men’s road bike race for Cycling News Asia.
