Inner Mongolian Alleycat and ChinaCycle

Dear fixed gear friends,
The last 2 weekends were fun. Check below for pictures and report from the events.
Dupree will be leaving on Friday for a 1 month trip to Europe. We will miss him but before he leaves we want to do some fast riding together with him. Let’s ride tomorrow Tue May 10th – just come to Natooke shop at 7pm. We will head over to the Olympic forest and do some fast riding laps and then go for dinner somewhere around the north 3rd ring road.
The Asia Fixed Gear Championships are from May 27th to May 29th in Shenzhen. If you are planning on going let me know. We would like to go there together as the Beijing Fixed Gear team and the Natooke crew. There is an alleycat race as well as sprints, lap speed race, track stand competition and trick session.
In preparation for the Asia Fixed Gear Championships let us meet on Thursday May 12th morning at 8am at the huge wooden gate outside of the Ditan Park west gate for a fixie trick session to improve the tricks.
I will be going to Seoul for the Korean Fixie! Picnic Weekend! event on May 14th. I hope to see some friends there.
I have been nominated to be the female “Entrepreneur of the Year” but now I need public votes. So please go and vote for me
See you tomorrow for the Dupree goodbye ride!

Inner Mongolian Alleycat
The 1st Inner Mongolian Alleycat race was held on Sunday May 1st in Beijing. we had a small turnout for this challenging race. Only 3 of the 16 riders found the stations and therefore completed the race. The “Lords of the 2nd ring road” were Fred and Julien from Natooke Crew with Ricky Wong as a runner up. Lv You took a minor spill and having to go to hosptal to get 8 stitches, but he is fine.
ChinaCycle
Natooke had a cosy booth with the best team at China’s biggest bicycle exhibition in Shanghai. We also had our cute banana mascot walk around and get hugged by beautiful girls. Of course we saw some really nice bikes there as well as a lot of cheap copies. The exhibition was fun but riding bike around Shanghai was even more fun – the best way to see a city.
